It's also what allows us internet users to remember complicated URLs by giving them easy-to-remember names instead: for example, www means World Wide Web (or "the whole wide world"), while com means commercial entity; indeed this system has been used since 1983!
Point your domain name to Wix
When you point your domain name to Wix, the information on your domain account will be sent to your Wix account. The change should take effect within a few days. If it doesn't work, contact customer support for assistance.
